Booka Shade

Booka Shade son Walter Merziger y Arno Kammermeier, dos de los productores más prolíficos del sello alemán de house electrónico, Get Physical, uno de los labels que más vende dentro del underground más pulcro con ese house electrónico que respeta la comercialidad sin pervertir demasiado la honestidad creativa. Durante las primeras referencias del label se han encargado de las remezclas de gente tan importante dentro de la casa como M.A.N.D.Y., DJ T, Sunsetpeople y Chelonis R. Jones. Después de editar dos álbumes de synth pop a principios de los noventa y de llevar por delante una gran ristra de live acts por toda Alemania y el resto de Europa en 2004 acaban de ver reconocida su labor con un primer álbum en Get Physical con un título de difícil olvido, Memento. En este álbum explotan su amplio background para darle forma con un sonido contemporáneo que está gustando mucho en el continente y que cuenta con alguna remezcla destacada como la de Marco Passarani para el tema Panoramic. Su álbum marca las coordenadas del grupo, una mezcla de synth-pop que suena a antiguo, mezclado con electro-house contemporáneo que los hace sonar rabiosamente actuales, todo eso sin descartar su background con claras referencias al trance tal y como se puede comprobar tras la escucha de temas como su hit Body Language que recuperarán en una nueva versión para su álbum de 2006, Movements. Gracias a tracks como este han conseguido llamar la atención de reputados productores como Moby, Thaiti 80, o The Juan Maclean, que los han invitado para reconstruir algunos de sus trabajos.

Danger (Franck Rivoire) is an electronic musician from Lyon, France. He expands on the 80s action-film sounds of Kavinsky (Record Makers) and takes them into mysterious territories. Powerful compositions that evoke a landscape that belongs equally in an Amiga video game and to a fictional animated film involving explorers deep in South American jungles stumbling upon a colossal obsidian pyramid. Basement Jaxx - Rooty

Rooty is the second album by the British house duo Basement Jaxx, released in 2001. The singles released from the album were "Romeo", "Jus 1 Kiss", "Where's Your Head At" and "Get Me Off". James Zabiela - Alive Reinassance

James Zabiela is a DJ from Southampton in the United Kingdom. Mentored by Sasha, James’s sets and releases are strongly influenced by tech house, electro house and breakbeat stylings and his unique capitalization of all available mixing aid “utilities” give his performances characteristic depth and professional production quality. He is known for his turntable skills, extensive use of loops and effects, and the use of the Pioneer CDJ1000s, EFX1000 as well as more recently using Ableton Live.

Eva B has released nice jazzy and dubby stuff on the nujazz label Sonar Kollektiv outta Germany. Inspirations come from sounds like Rythm N Sound, Cinematic Orchestra, Rockers Hi-Fi, Earl Zinger. Berliner Eva Be is a producer who commissioned beat poets to spit rhymes over her smoky, minimal beats, and the end result is something like Digable Planets meets Herbaliser meets Soulstice. Eva is much more concerned with exploring the interface between dub and electronica - using the opportunity to play with boundaries between genres, for example, mixing in sounds and melodies from an easy listening or soundtrack context
